Me: Hello? Yes Gov?
Gov: Rolyn, I will tell you something.
Me: What can I do to help you?
Gov: Ikaw amung i representative sa *not clear* bowl.
Me: Ha? Extemporaneous? No!
Gov: Dili. Sa *not clear again* bowl ba.
Me: Unsa?
Me: Huwat? Nganung ako? Dili man ko matalino.
Bahala gud. Ikaw na ng gi-ingnan."
*back to the phone na tayo
Me: Ah grabeha. Wala lagi ko nimu pabal-a gov."
*laughs*
Me: So wala na jud diay koy choice ani?
Gov: Wala na jud. Upat bitaw mo. Ikaw mu represent sa third year.
(voice over or sa simpleng term "Joiner") "Apil na lang gud Rolyn. Dah!"
Gov: Okay. I'll see you then. Meeting ninyo this afternoon at 3 p.m. Bye.
Me: Bye.
At 'di pa do'n nagtapos yun. Meron pang 2nd batch.
I told Isha, who was beside me that time, busy encoding her assignment, about the call.
Me: Sha, kadungog ka ato?
She smiled.
Me: Nganung dili ikaw ilang gi pili Sha?
*and then guffawed na parang walang maraming tao sa IRS*
Me: Ah. Kaya pala. So set-up jud ni para di na ko maka balibad.
Isha: Anah! Ikaw na jud.
Wala na akong magagawa. If I will back-out baka mapatay pa ako ni Ma'am Dean at ni Governor Sojor ng college namin.
So help me God!
P.S. I went to the CED SG office this afternoon, soaking wet, and checked on the affiliation. There I found out that he was just making up stories about an official list. But pumayag na rin ako. Total, manalo matalo there will be consolation prizes naman. Teehee!
